The ISOTANK is a tank container that complies with ISO standards and has the same external dimensions as a 20’dc shipping container. This special equipment has been developed for the international bulk transport of all types of liquids:

• Food (on order)

• Hazardous chemicals (flammable, toxic, corrosive, etc.) and non-hazardous.

 

 

Our ISOTANK activity has been developed through our partnership with ITT http://www.intermodaltank.com, one of the world's leading carriers with a fleet of 8,600 ISOTANKS.

This partner has also developed a network of agencies and storage warehouses dedicated to this activity to enable it to operate across different continents.

Our global logistics service includes:

• Technical inspection of the ISOTANK before loading

• Cleaning and degassing

• Technical assistance with loading (at the customer's request)

• Pre-routing to the port of embarkation

• International transport to the agreed delivery location according to your incoterm

• Technical assistance for unloading (at the request of the recipient).

*Volumetric capacity:

• Our fleet is mainly made up of three different nominal capacities: 24,000 liters, 25,000 liters (80% of the fleet), 26,000 liters (to be physically checked on the ISOTANK CSC plate before any loading)

*Technical characteristics:

• The tank shell: made of stainless steel (approximately 4.5 mm thick) allowing liquids to be transported safely and without risk of contamination.

• A CSC plate to display the details of the ISOTANK such as its tare, weight and volume limit and the manufacturer's name.

• A bottom valve with three closures to prevent leaks as much as possible. A check and pressure test are carried out before loading.

• An air inlet valve integrated into the top of the ISOTANK. It is both a pressure device (during unloading) and a recovery device (during loading)

• The safety valve allows any excessive pressure in the tank to be automatically and safely released.

• A flame arrester device for reliable protection during the transport of flammable liquids against dangerous gas flow reversals and flashbacks.

• a high-strength carbon steel frame, conforming to ISO dimensions.

• Cladding around the hull to protect its insulation against water, made of aluminum or fiberglass-reinforced plastic.

• A document holder in the form of a sealed tube mounted on the chassis allowing the transport of copies of certain documents such as the certificate of analysis, the cleaning certificate, etc.

• Grounding connection protector to dissipate static electricity

• A steam heating system: all ITT ISOTANKS are equipped with this system to enable efficient transport of certain liquids sensitive to temperature fluctuations.
